Independent oil and gas producer, Pinnacle Energy Corp. (OTCBB: PENC), formerly Gas Salvage Corp., today announced the acquisition of working interests in six wells in Pawnee County, Okla. for $1 million. The news sent shares of Pinnacle Energy soaring nearly 33 percent, to 98 cents.

The company plans to aggressively exploit their shale gas assets based on their prior experience with other shale gas assets in the Barnett and Fayetteville shale gas areas.

As commodity oil and gas prices move near their historic highs, new junior oil and gas exploration and development companies have been working to take advantage. Many of the people interested in working the oil and gas exploration and development pipeline are eager to profit but lack the capital and know-how to get the job done.
