The credit crisis continues to plauge the economy, while prices of commodities, including gold and oil, are soaring. Right now, investors should look into one undervalued commodity before prices soar as the next credit wave rolls in.

As commodity oil and gas prices move near their historic highs, new junior oil and gas exploration and development companies have been working to take advantage. Many of the people interested in working the oil and gas exploration and development pipeline are eager to profit but lack the capital and know-how to get the job done.

In a week marked by a furthered short-term collapse of oil and a stronger U.S. dollar, the gold market saw prices drop off by $40 to settle near $925 an ounce. Investors seem quick to point the finger at the commodities market, using any sign of weakness as a cause for a stock market rally, but is the gold rush of late actually winding down?

Last week we had some good opportunity to make money by shorting FCPO Sept and Oct contracts when it triggered the sell signal after breaching the 3,518 critical levels on the intraday hourly chart. It was one of the confirmations based on Elliot Wave Theory that the previous rally was just a corrective wave. Last week, bearish breakdown signal was also triggered on the daily chart.

Since opening this Monday, the bulls have taken flight at Dow Jones and the index is descending steadily towards March lows of 11850. As I mentioned before, if investors can or are willing to hold the fort here, we can look forward to a sustained upswing for the next week or so, barring unforeseen disasters.
